The totally reconstructed, brand-new Estonian National Museum opened on September 28 with a blasphemous attack on Mary, the Mother of God.
Heres whats happening, according to several news outlets:
Visitors at Estonian National Museum [are] offered to kick Virgin Marys image - - and its definitely true. Ive verified it.
The National Museum which opened in Estonia in the presence of President Toomas Hendrik Ilves last week, is offering its visitors to kick one of the exhibits, an interactive image of Virgin Mary, causing the picture to fall into pieces. [my emphasis]
The display is a depiction of Virgin Mary on a big light screen almost the size of a human being. It is static until someone kicks a specially marked spot at the bottom of the picture, causing the virtual figure fly into pieces and the word "Reformation" appear on the screen.
Then the image resets to Our Lady of Graces again, and the whole thing starts anew.
Join us. Tell The National Museum: STOP This CONTEMPTIBLE Attack On Mary.

Well this would be true if they were the selfasme people, but I very much doubt that they are.
Neither here nor in Estonia.
It’s a Catholic thing. I fear the dogma will lead to re-adoption of pagan forms of worship, which syncretism crammed together with Constantine’s Christianity.

Who keeps voting the heretics into their ruling positions? And I say “ruling” on purpose here. They don’t consider themselves servants, as Christ told us to do, but instead they think themselves rulers with power over us.
The Bible refers to people as "brothers and sisters" of Jesus, but never refers to any of them, except Jesus himself, as children of Mary.
James the lesser is identified as a "brother of the Lord," but his parentage is specified also: he is the "son of Alphaeus" (Mt 10:3, Mk 3:18, Lk 6:15). Jude Thaddeus is also called a "brother of the Lord," but Acts 1:13 says he was actually James' son. Pretty clearly, the Scriptures are using the word "brother" a lot more generically than we would.
Who keeps voting for heretics? Other heretics.
Just a wild guess.

It is not wise to denigrate someone who has found favor with God according to His Messenger, and these Estonians should carefully rethink the foolish disrespect they are displaying for the only one chosen for that very special assignment by God.
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary. And he came to her and said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!" But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be.
And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end."
And Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I have no husband?" And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible." And Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
From the Book of Mark, Chapter 6
1) Jesus went out from there and came into His hometown; and His disciples .
2) When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands?
3) Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?
Those who cannot see this fact are the ones who insist on the perpetual virginity of Mary! This is contrary to Scripture
Except Rev. 12:17, where ~all~ those "who keep God's commandments and bear witness to Jesus" are called Mary's offspring.
The real issue is the false concept: the perpetual virginity of Mary!
Matthew 1: 25
and (Joseph) kept her (Mary) a virgin until (UNTIL) she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.
So Mary was a virgin UNTIL Jesus was born!
And after that what happened? Mary had at least 6 more children.
This Biblical verse does not prove that Mary and Joseph had sexual relations afterwards, and to think so shows a common grammatical error. The word "until" does not mean that something that didn't happen before, did happen after.
This is true even in English. If you say "Stay well until we meet again," does that mean you want them to be well only until you see them, but they can darn well get sick afterwards?
It's even stronger in Greek. Acts 25:21 - "But when Paul had appealed to be kept in custody for the decision of the emperor, I commanded him to be held until (Gk. heos hou) I could send him to Caesar." Does this prove Paul would not be held in custody after he was "sent" to Caesar? Nope. He would be held in custody while in transit (Acts 27:1) and after he was in Rome awhile (Acts 27:1) "Until" (heos hou) does NOT mean "ONLY until," nor does it indicate that things changed afterwards."
Glad to clear up the grammar thee.
Here's another point. The understanding that the brethren of the Lord were Jesus stepbrothers (older children of widower Joseph by a previous marriage) was the most common one until the time of the great language scholar/Bible translator Jerome, who pointed out that Christs "brethren" were probably, in the Hebrew context, his cousins, since in Jewish idiom cousins were also referred to as "brethren." So this is another way the word "brethren" works, both in Hebrew and in Greek.
Nobody held that Jesus' "brethren" were his uterine brothers via Mary for a millennium and a half of intensive NT Bible study, done by people who were far closer to the idiomatic use of the original languages. The whole generation of Protestant reformers, including Luther, Calvin and Zwingli, held that the perpetual virginity of Mary was Biblical, and I've been told that many Protestant scholars still do.

"Until" we meet in the FR Religion forum again, Try One, may God bless you And that means before and after!
I remain unpersuaded, for some reason. (!!)
“You seem to think you understand Jerusalem-style Hebrew and Koine Greek better than Jerusalem-resident Hebrew scholars and Koine Greek speakers.”
Nope, just simple reading of the Scripture.
Can’t find any verse in the Bible that says Mary died a virgin!
Yes, the ‘Virgin Mary’ was a virgin until Jesus was born. After that, Jesus had brothers & sisters -— who came from Mary’s womb.
There is no Scripture to refute this.
Fact is, you can't find any verse in the Bible that says Mary died at all! What do you want to make of that?
And no Scripture "refutes" the idea that Mary was, say, a Libertarian, an Extraterrestrial, a paranoid schizophrenic, a Celtic accordion player, or a hologram.
It needs to be handled more carefully.
It all makes sense now!
For you to say this is sheer moral defamation.
Sorry, Many Catholics pray to “Holy Mary, Mother of God”
That is blasphemous! We should pray directly to God!
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have no mother. The Trinity are eternity past, eternity present and eternity future. The Trinity are not created; humans are created beings, including Mary.
Mary was a wonderful lady and unique role model, but she was a sinner like all other humans.
It is not "blasphemous" to realize that we are in constant, vital contact with all the holy ones in heaven. Or have you not heard that we are all members of the Body of Christ?
Or do you think that the saints who have passed on before us are "dead clumps of cells" in the Body and that they do not love us and pray for us? Is God keeping them incommunicado in a soundproof booth? Do they now have LESS power to intercede for us spiritually, than they did when they were here on this earth?
That is inconceivable. If "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" on this earth, how much moreso in Heaven?
Mary and the rest of the saints are rejoicing in Jesus' mercy at the throne of God, enjoying spiritual privileges so unspeakably great that, as Scripture says, we "can't even imagine" how great they are.
St. Peter says (2 Peter 1:4) "Hereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.." And you don't even think we could ask them to pray for us?
And yet there they are, and here we are, together sharing all these great spiritual gifts because we are all members of one Body.
You, too.
And it’s certainly true that Mary was human like other humans, having a human nature just like Adam and Eve.
“It is not “blasphemous” to realize that we are in constant, vital contact with all the holy ones in heaven.”
Please show such references in Scripture where we are to be in contact with Saints (Moses, Abraham, Apostle John, Mary, etc.) who have passed on.
The one profound example, King Saul, went to a medium to bring up the Samuel’s spirit! That did not work out too well for King Saul.
The ‘Body of Christ’, referenced by Apostle Paul many times, refers to the Living Believers in Jesus Christ.
You say:
“St. Peter says (2 Peter 1:4) “Hereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature..” And you don’t even think we could ask them to pray for us?”
To be “partakers of the divine nature” is a reminder that Believers will someday be Christ-like and that we are to look to Christ now! It does not mean that we are to look to Saints (Moses, Mary, etc.) who have passed on.
Yes, we are to call on living Saints to pray for us, and there is no Scripture that instructs us to call on Saints who have passed on and are currently in the Spirit world.
