Yeah, because I believe God's preserved word, you should give it a try, you'll be amazed at what God can do for you on a day by day basis

So, once again instead of addressing valid questions you avoid (or try to) answering by attacking straw men of your own making. That's neither wise nor commendable in an open debate forum. Do you imagine no one sees your flaccid responses for what they are?

That's what I thought, you are your own authority. What facts? It's all based on what YOU feel you're reading is right, so therefore it must be right! Thanks but no thanks, it's very dangerous, to be your own authority, because in the end you will carve out a god of your own making. And that is the state of the modern church, "However I want to live, God is Ok with it, because I read in my modern bible" That is not the God of the the preserved word, that is the god of this world. How much better to depend on the Holy Spirit who guided fifty-four of the Christian world's foremost scholars and linguists ever, all being peer reviewed by each other for a period of seven years.

Funny how everything you are using to falsely accuse others are the very same fallacies in your OWN arguments! You just don't seem to be capable of understanding how silly your defenses are. Have you found anything these KJV translators stated about their work that indicates they thought they were under Divine inspiration when they translated? No, I couldn't either. Did they pray for guidance? Yes. Did they try to do as good a job as they could trusting that God would use their efforts to bring others to Christ and the knowledge of the truth? Oh, yes, they did. But, they acknowledged their limitations and did not deny that their work could be improved upon - and it was.

All you have with the NWO bibles is the last part, Revised, and boy do they get revised, over and over. So go ahead and trust yourself to what you feel is right, I'll stick with God's preserved word. Oh and as far as your listed NWO bible translations on those verses are concerned, go invest in a good English dictionary, and find out what the words actually mean. Perhaps then you will realize where the NWO is leading you.

False...as is so much of your drivel. How quickly you condemn and never seem able to comprehend the ACTUAL comments being made on this topic. I think you are TOO full of yourself to admit you are wrong in your false judgment. Case in point, the two verses I gave you that show the KJV missed a crucial opportunity to clarify the deity of Jesus Christ - you DO believe He is God, right? In your willful blindness to the few errors that exist in this version, you are, in essence, denying the role of the Holy Spirit in revealing the truth through the sacred word. These translators, though strong Christians, were humble enough to admit they were not infallible. Though God's word is perfect, it doesn't always translate perfectly to other languages.

If you cannot see the difference between "the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" and "our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ" or between "the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" and "the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ", then I don't think you can presume to be the judge and jury over what others use in studying God's word. To me, it sounds like you doubt the Holy spirit is able to lead others into all truth regardless of what version they use.

And if you don't like my answer in this reply, please keep it to yourself, because you seriously bore me.

Nope. Though I'm sure it would delight you to imagine you have me cowering afraid to take you on, think again, your challenges are child's play. Though certainly boring to keep having to explain these points over and over, I think it is important to defend God's word and not limit the Holy Spirit in His power to reveal the truth to all those who diligently seek Him.

God is not 'boatbums' authority, The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are not 'boatbums' authority, the Apostle Paul is not 'boatbums' authority. I'm certainly not 'boatbums' authority.

'boatbums' is 'boatbums' authority, because 'boatbums' decides what is right and what is wrong, for 'boatbums, 'boatbums' is the final jusdge, (certainly not the preserved word of God)

So, who am I to question 'boatbums' authority?

bye,bye 'boatbums'
