Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Thank you for your post, it's a great reminder to me, of how often I allow the things of this world to affect my walk with Jesus.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

These days millions of people are willfully conforming themselves to the world. And looking at the world, looking to the left or to the right, looking straight ahead or behind, these are perilous days that can't really be compared to anything else in world history.

The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy:

2 Timothy 3:1
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

All the wickedness that is happening, the evil in the news, is happening on a global scale. It's not something taking place over in just one part of the planet, the evil is happening in every area of the globe.

2 Timothy 3:2
For men shall be lovers
of their own selves,

People in love with their own selves, can be seen with the explosion of "social media", why do people think that every other person, wants to know everything there is to know about them?

The love of self is the main cause of spiritual decline, and ever increasing wickedness going on in these days.

2 Timothy 3:1-4
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God

I fail every day at not doing the things listed in the above passage, but praise the Lord,

2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

May the Lord bless you and yours.
