Games were begun eons ago by societies.

They were begun to keep their warriors "in tune" for battle: "practice warfare." THAT was why score was always kept, a victor was assured and acclaimed and prizes were given out to the winner(s).

Warriors were started FOR MEN. Women in sports today are most successful if they have the male-type body: narrow hips, knees that descend straight down from the hips and smaller breasts.
The Latina women in sports/soccer ALWAYS end up with severe injuries to their lower bodies. I don't think that I've ever seen the prototype body in them.

As were the Olympic games & which I commented on during the Rio games regarding the plethora of events that seem ill suited to the Olympiad. And of course ridding the games of opulant pomp and ceremony which stems from the 1936 games hosted by Nazi Germany.

Prior to the Nazi invention of the torch run and the lighted Olympic flame did not exist.

Back to LaCross U. If the students and enabling faculty only were to look back at the origins of the alma mater name and the locale where it stands I wonder if any “unsafe” feelings would be noticed, and if demands would be expressed?
