You have to remember bro, I was led to the Lord, by those guys, what did they call themselves again? Oh yes, the Navigators. 😊 If there is one thing they did, it was to GROUND us in the word. They wanted to make sure we were not easily swayed by false doctrines, of which there are many out there. 😆 I did, of course read Dr Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Cults, but we studied the Bible, and left any cultic tendencies and beliefs we may have had before.
I found out there is no better way to rid myself of false religions, than to study the truth. Suppose? 🙏
By the way, I don't say where I attend church, or other things of that nature. I figure people don't have a top secret, crypto access security clearance, so they don't have the need to know. 🙉🙈
