I believe the course which C. Stanley agreed upon is the correct one, as he did not seek divorce and may have had no responsibility for it. We don’t really know.
Divorce will always tear apart the foundation of all stable societies the family. But sometimes it's necessary. Sometimes, it's even unavoidable..... if one spouse files for divorce, the other cannot stop it from occurring.
IN my opinion most divorces are rooted in the fact that one or the other partner no longer wants to "do" marriage anymore. ..everything else else that follows starts at that point of the bridge beginning to crumble...
