And how would we know what they are if we did not communicate with them and test them? The head in the sand approach does not work.

“Repossessed” is what happens when you drive the demons out and do not heal the wound..
The greatest payment or reward is to see a soul grow after the shackles are removed. If it chooses not to grow, it becomes repossessed. So yes, your statement is 100% correct.

I’m a “truth seeker.” Thus I am always open to new considerations I have missed in the past.
John 10 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
They are referred to as “impure”, not evil or demonic.
Matthew 12:43 New International Version (NIV)
43 “When an “impure” spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

Note the word “impure”. Heck, you and I are impure spirits as we are sinners. However, You and I are not demonic nor are we angels.

The reason I seek this understanding is that all “spirits” are creations of God. The impurity is a flaw in the spirit but is not the spirit itself. I love the spirit but do not love the flaw. That is the power that removes an impure spirit, i.e. Love
I love that spirit so much that I seek to assist it in removing its impurities and setting it free.
It’s kind of like disciplining a wonderful child who has some bad behavior. The child is always worthy of my love. The behavior is not. Too often we destroy children by making them think that they are bad. They are good. Too good to exhibit the bad behavior. Rescue the child, don’t demonize them.
