I accused the pastor of nothing. I asked a question

How about we actually read what some one posts rather than putting words in their posts that were never written?

Lera,
I encourage you to keep posting these threads. The Reformed School (Presbys, Calvinists, etc.) delight in challenging any notion of a rapture. They still share Aristotle’s approach to eschatology (God doesn’t mean 1,000 when he says 1,000; God doesn’t mean Jewish tribes when He says that; Jesus is not REALLY going to reign from Jerusalem). They are like the Church of Sardis, having only a name that they are alive.
Don’t spend your energy with these folks; save those pearls. Keep posting. Also check out Guzik, Prasch, and Fruchtenbaum and tell us what you think.

Also Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Thanks :)
I really enjoy listening to Jacob Prasch and I think that Dr Arnold Fruchtenbaum is one of our last real theologians .
Guzik I have never heard of but shall look him up.
Again thanks much

Footsteps of the Messiah is perhaps the best book I’ve ever read on eschatology.

Guzik has been a big surprise for me. I haven’t listened/watched him that much but have found his online commentaries to very good; they are the first ones I’ll check out

Thanks for the heads-up on Bill Randles; I liked his update on Turkey after the coup. He does his homework and I’m following him now.

Lera, again, don’t let these nay-sayers from Reformed Theology dim your love for the return of Christ. Keep watching! You are an encouragement

“REFORMED” “CALVINIST” “LUTHERAN” all sound impressive.
(to Sardis)
“You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. . . if you do not wake up I will come as a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come.”
