The man who baptized me and married my wife and I has a daughter in the clergy. She is very liberal. This year, she left PCUSA and now has a charge in the UMC.

Seriously, the downward trajectory of what used to be a solidly social conservative sect in my childhood (50s) has been heartbreaking. I'm lcms now. The only things I miss are the hymns.
