Dear Friends in Jesus and Mary,
The Holy Rosary has a very special place in my "Spiritual Life".
Recitation of the Holy Rosary has helped me to cope with the ups and downs of life.
My Mother used to often tell me, that if you are troubled in any way ---- "Go to Jesus and Mary" by reciting the Holy Rosary. They will never let you down.
When I recite the Holy Rosary, I often think of the unique and special relationship between Jesus Christ and Mother Mary during their life on earth.
I have never stopped reciting the Holy Rosary when I learnt it at the age of 10.
I believe that the Holy Rosary is a Miraculous Prayer in itself and if said with faith and devotion it is a great help on a daily basis.
Here are two beautiful articles on the Holy Rosary.
1) The Seven Dolour Rosary.

Who has added to scripture? Peculiar that any religious would think faith is limited to scripture. So narrow-minded and unthinking...I guess it makes it easy, not having to believe anything not in black and white. Evil is always easy...that comes to my mind.
Which leads back to your circularity problem in that it is again assuming that which the Bible does not permit is prohibited, and that without ever arrogating to itself any such authority, nor such doctrine.
If your supposition about distribution and doctrine were true, codification of the Bible would have presented no remedy to the heresy problems as the early Church would have already possessed that which you claim addressed the problem, or at the very least would mean the Church is still subject to the same heretical influences to this day.
Be that as it may, we both know you can not bring anything to substantiate your rather counter-intuitive claim about the dissemination of what came to be the Scripture. Indeed, the only thing such a questionable claim accomplishes is that which it was invented for...making the doctrine of Sola Scriptura somewhat plausible.
“codification of the Bible would have presented no remedy”
Knowing what is Scripture, and what it states, fights heresy.
“Cherry picking scripture to prop up your hate of Mary and her veneration will get you nowhere...”
I feel for you, that all you are posting is a personal attack. No facts. No evidence. No logical arguments.
“Which leads back to your circularity problem in that it is again assuming that which the Bible does not permit is prohibited,”
Has been prohibited many times in Scripture.
Quote?
But you claim they already had it in all but name.
You should go start a anti-Catholic/Christian thread if you want to bash us. I’ve alread referred you to post 2. I see you cherry pick portions of others’ comments too.
I've discussed a practice that is unbiblical and a teaching that is unbiblical. I've not bashed a person or group of people. Ironically, you have.
If you now claim this is a caucus thread, I am happy to respect that and withdraw.
This is a Catholic/Christian thread about the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary...declared Catholic Caucus in post 2 by the person who posted it. At thr moment, I am on cell phone, so no I have no interest in drawn out debate.
First, it seems like to you that everyone that is not a Catholic is a Protestant.
We can not debate when this misconception and “accusation” (the way it’s expressed is like an accusation) continues to be your erroneous assessment of my belief system.
Second, it’s spiritually impossible for one to seek God in their “own way” with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Would you like for me to post the scriptures from the Word of God that can lead you to the Kingdom of God and a direct relationship with Jesus Christ?
It’s a very simple free gift, but it will cost you everything.
The indoctrination practiced by the Catholic Church for hundreds of years is very intense.
It infects many of it’s adherents to the bottoms of their confused souls.
But they stay supporting their church no matter what heinous acts some in the hierarchy commit with utter guiltless abandon.
Praying the rosary over and over again is like the old practice of buying indulgences. Now, buy a rosary.
You have only demonstrated Cath. cultism. But what is the basis for your assurance of the veracity of Catholic teaching.
How is that statement credible when Trinitarian theology predates the codification of Scripture?
How is that statement credible when men such as Apollos "mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ," (Acts 18:28) although that also predated the complete codification of Scripture.
Is your argument that a complete infallible canon is essential in order for the veracity of a doctrine to be based on Scriptural substantiation in word and in power, under SS?
By "common fundamental practice" i am referring to prayer to created beings, which for Caths is as much a "common fundamental practice" as prayer to God, and thus which would be exampled and exhorted in the life of the church, but in contrast, the Holy Spirit records approx. 200 prayers in Scripture, as befits a "common fundamental practice," but none of which are addressed to any created being in Heaven, except by pagans, and with only God being set forth therein and in instruction/exhortations as the proper and immediate object of prayer, and the only one shown privileged and able to hear and respond to the prayers of all flesh.
Thus at the least praying to created beings in Heaven has no more warrant as a doctrine than my examples, and is contrary in principle to what Scripture reveals, while sanctioning doctrine based on a absence of clear prohibition is slippery-slope cultism, not Scripture. But if you want to believe that inhabiting the plant Kolob is a warranted doctrine then Elsie could help you find friends.
then explain how your understanding differs from the keeping of "law."
You will have to be more coherent than that if you want a meaningful exchange. An atheist here once argued that father-daughter incest was allowed in the OT since it is nowhere clearly condemned, though it certainly is in principal (and under no near kin).
You need to go start a pro Catholic caucus thread if you want to engage in your provocative promotion of a paganised religion without it being reproved. Or do you miss the Inquisitions?
