This statement by Marx ignores the tenets of the Catholic Church
The Church has nothing to apologize for, here
The Catholic Church welcomes gays as well as it does any sinner who repents, sincerely intends to repent and struggles with temptation. Like any other living human being. Just as Christ teaches
These spokespeople have an agenda of their own
===============================================
1. "tenets"? I doubt if Marx knows what a "tenet" is.
2. True. It's just following the ten commandments (not the ten suggestions) and getting folks to LOVE God and love each other. Sounds pretty simple to me.
3. I was taught to HATE the sin and LOVE the sinner. People can have all kinds of feelings but no one has to ACT on the bad feelings. When I'm driving I sometimes HOPE that the jerk who is trying to kill her/himself and me gets a ticket.
4. Oh yes. Many people HATE the Catholic Church because of
*the divorce-NO REMARRY law that they insist on enforcing.
**They also hate the Catholic Church because sex is for ONLY between ONE man and ONE woman, married to each other.
***So, adultery, fornication, masturbation, threesomes, etc., are all forbidden. Hollyweird just can't have an FUN if the Catholic Church had its way.

True story about "Where's a cop when ya need him?" It's just a little story about how God sometimes gives me a GOOD laugh. He knows when I need one.
I was driving to Mass one morning and a black and white (cop car) was behind me. So I was certainly minding my P's and Q's.
Well, I got to a four-way stop and the guy on my right, as Asian, saw me, gave me a HUGE grin and a wink and ran the stop sign, turning left in front of me, right past the cop car. HAHAHA!
I have NEVER seen a cop car, or any car, do such a FAST and SHART u-turn/ueey. He pulled over that guy like in two seconds.
I WAS going to stop and watch the guy get his ticket but I didn't. I had ALREADY had my reward. I pass that corner five days a week and give a BIG smile at that memory!
A cop was THERE when he was needed!!
.
Thank you, Lord, for that little moment of laughter.
