Since we know that Leftists aren't ever going to say that grown men going into the girls' bathroom is wrong, I think what we're really looking at is that not only are sane normal people wrong, but they're defective and 'racist' if they try to protect their kids.
I think your observation is right on the money but what was once sanity seems to be obsolescent now among everyone who runs everything.

We all have known people since grade school who literally can never admit they are wrong. We tend to forget that these people grow up into adults. They do, and we see this with liberals who, even when presented with deadly, unimpeachable FACT, cannot organically grasp it, ever, because it flies in the face of what they believe.
