Do you think a newborn or even a few months old newborn "processes" the pain they may feel? They don't even know the hand waving in front of their face belongs to them and they DO have functioning brains. Have you had children or been around babies?
Besides, I thought you said you didn't like anything to suffer. Are you now changing that to mean "suffer and be able to process it"? Because that would mean you are okay with late term abortions. Are you also okay with killing the mentally handicapped or people in comas? Tell me, are you at least teachable on this subject or is your mind already made up?
From the same source:
Dr. Liley's observation is graphically demonstrated in Dr. Bernard Nathanson's classic film, The Silent Scream, the first widely circulated ultrasound of an actual abortion. [4] It shows a child serenely resting in her mother's womb. Suddenly the child is alarmed because of the intruding abortion device. She moves as far away as she can, trying desperately to save her life. Just before her body is torn to pieces and sucked out through the vacuum tube, her tiny mouth opens in an unheard scream of terror. After the abortion the doctor who performed it was invited to view the ultrasound. He was so upset with what he saw that he left the room. Though he had performed over ten thousand abortions, he never performed another one. [5]
You know what? No matter what you say, I am simply not willing to go back to the days when a woman was just an incubator for a man’s seed. My sympathy is with the woman and her pains, not the fetus. I support abortion rights. And now we are done.
Just as I thought! Your mind is made up, don't confuse you with the facts.
The woman was NEVER just an incubator for a man's seed! Why not just be honest then and admit you don't care even if the unborn baby is days away from birth, you don't have a problem with the mother aborting?
