The Blue Mosque has the head of St. John the Baptist...in a very fancy, beautiful gold, 10' high structure. That is the tradition and belief, of course. Who really knows, besides God?
Anyway, Muslim imams sit around it,
24/7 and pray. St. John is considered a very holy man in Islam.
We went there on a Steve Ray tour. I thought the entire idea those imams had was BIZARRE.
Oh well, God is their judge, not me.
