The suffering in the passages you posted was certainty in God’s foreknowledge, but it’s not his will or design for us. Satan is the cause of death and destruction.

Life...finite or eternal? Christ didn't have to come here to give us a better temporal life; he DID have to come here to die for us on the cross so that our more abundant life would be everlasting and with him in glory.
