I think I was done with this thread by post 1. We are saved from Hell, and the wrath of God, but we are not guaranteed physical healing of our bodies. Otherwise, would anyone ever die? Some may indeed get miraculous physical healing. Others may not. The Apostle Paul was a classic example. Later, brothers and sisters. 😃😃😇
Well put!
1 Timothy 5:23(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.)
I guess Timothy and Trophimus, not to mention the irresponsible Paul who left Trophimus sick, were just a bunch of schmucks who didn't know about all this divine health that we are allegedly promised.
Telling us how our healing occurs, by His stripes, does not equate to a promise that you WILL be healed if you simply have enough faith.
All it does is tell us the avenue, the mechanism by which our healing takes place when it happens.
I've heard people stand up in front of congregations, while battling cancer and receiving radiation, that *I AM healed!*.
Well, if you are healed then what's the point of the radiation? If you are healed, why is there cancer in your body?
The fallacy is that you can be sick and symptomatic and still be healed and walk around declaring it makes it so. That is NOT taught in Scripture anywhere nor is it ever even alluded to.
