“By His stripes we were healed” (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5).
Because of the divine exchange at the cross, we have “divine health” which means Jesus took our broken bodies and we got his healthy body.
God promises his children a heavenly healing and on occasion provides earthly ones as well. I hope you are not implying some kind of “name it and claim it” stuff.
Also helpful, some hard returns in the text.
Where did you learn this method of dealing with Scripture? And who taught it to you?
Didn’t you already post this in the past? This is not Christian doctrine. This is witchcraft. God is not your magic vending machine.
So how come everyone who got healed by Jesus and His Apostles STILL physically died? That “healing” only goes so far and to insist God meant physical healing in that Psalm 53 passage ignores the GREATER healing that He does for all who come to Him in faith - and to whom is given 100% spiritual healing every time. By His stripes we ARE healed.
The apostle Paul asked the Lord many times to heal him...The Lord refused...Just sayin’...
That's not what He told Paul.
Hey Frank, are you getting all of this?
I hope you’re not sorry for posting this because this stuff needs to be put out on the table and dealt with.
God bless you my FRiend.
You’re spreading a false understanding of the Word.
Your opening line stated "This article is to those that might be going through a physical affliction and wondering if it is God's will for you to be healed. I just want to encourage you that it is God's will that you receive your healing. "
OK, now YOU tell us why if it's God's will for us to be healed, people don't see it.
Don't let others do all your dirty work and heavy lifting defending the point YOU are making.
Man up and defend your beliefs yourself.
Did you guys get all of this? I told Frank that I hope he wasn’t sorry for posting this because this stuff needs to be put out on the table and dealt with.
There’s one last thing I wanted to mention about the argument of these modern-day Pharisees. As you can see here, they love to attack you with the same thing they are doing - they are great distractors and deflectors, doing everything they can to get you off the track.
You’ll notice that they call it “cherry picking” when you cite various Scripture references to support your argument (of course they do the same thing). Citing support is how you put together a valid argument and citing Scripture regarding Biblical doctrine is of course valid. Scripture itself does this (Matt 8:16-17; John 20:36-37; and many other citings, especially in the Gospels).
But their “cherry picking” involves rejecting scriptures they don’t like or understand like, “by his stripes we are healed” (Is 53:5; 1 Pet 2:24; Matt 8:16-17; Is 53:5) and I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers (3 John 2).
Not everyone is meant to tangle with this crowd. Jesus said of the Pharisees, “Leave them alone” (Matt 15:14). But if we are going to do what Scripture says, to “earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints” which is the gospel of the grace of Christ that includes health, wealth, and abundant blessings, we, like Jesus and Paul, will encounter these nay-sayers.
May God bless and strengthen you in your journey with Him.
