But if they actually believed this stuff, they wouldn’t all come off as jerks about it. I mean come on. They would take pains to not jerkify their posts. There’s not one guy that buys this stuff but is cool on FR that posts regularly as all the jerks who also believe it do? Fairly unbelievable, at least my opinion.

Every Pope who has made a similar statement was referring to those who knew that the Catholic Church is the true Church and refused to enter it. This is what all Catechisms have taught on the subject.
