And the militant Mormon asserted: "The real Jesus said over and over that works were absolutely necessary for Salvation. You have to earn salvation from HIM. You can’t get there on your own. Jesus Christ has to award you salvation after your works are judged."

The 'real Jesus' of your Mormonism, would that be the one who appeared to Joe Smith in the woods, in his bedroom, etc., or is this a Jesus not found in the Bible, because God' Word says no such thing as you assert. But Joe Smith did, when taking time off from taking other men's wives as his sexual servants.

According to the Bible, Jesus told Nicodemus the Gospel of Salvation in John 3:14-18 and connected it to the healing event found in Numbers 21:4-9 as example of His Way to Save. The Bible also illustrates the immediacy of salvation in the here and now with the scene at Pentecost and in the House of Cornelius. ... Joe Smith told Mormons that they might be saved 'after all that they can do to get worthy of salvation.' Joseph Smith proved to be a false prophet.

Joe Smith told Mormons that they might be saved

When logic backs you into a coroner, always misdirect and obfuscate...right?

Mark 13 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matt 25: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

To understand any eternal law you have to understand all of it's principles. You have to follow the narrow path that leads first to perfection then endure in righteousness till the end. Then Jesus has to pronounce you saved to your face.

You actually think you're saved into heaven already??

Matt 18
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

So you're like a little child?? Really? Seriously?

You're meek and humble. You love all men unconditionally. You forgive immediately. You're teachable?

Seeing as how after all the years we have corresponded, you haven't said not a single kind word to me, I'm going with a "no" on that question.

It's like I said before, people create their own concept of Jesus. They give it a personality complete with it's own rules, laws and it's own gospel. They worship it, refer to it as authoritative, even put words in it's mouth.

Look, yours has already awarded you salvation. Wow!

But not the real person that is Jesus. His laws can't be compromised or ignored. And when the judgement comes, you will be judged just like the rest of us..
