There have been 267 Popes over 20 centuries, and you point out a handful who have been of questionable character, none of whom ever erred in teaching of faith and morals, yet you would follow one of THOUSANDS of protestant "denominations" and think nothing of the error in each and every one....O.K., I guess.
“Questionable character”??????
The filth and debauchery their lives displayed and the best you can do is call it “questionable character”??????
Those are the worst as far as morals etc. That certainly doesn’t imply that’s all there were. And the lists don’t even agree.
Perhaps some Catholic, like yourself, could post a list of the 10 best popes and let us know what they are so good for.
Must be there’s nothing to counter the lists I’ve been posting all that time cause I haven’t even seen the suggestion of that for all these years.
So go ahead. Give us a couple lists of the 10 best popes and how Christlike and moral they were.
Do as I say, not as I do, eh?
It's disgusting the way Catholics will give their own immoral corrupt leadership a pass on the worst of the worst behavior and then condemn non-Catholics for stuff that's not nearly as bad.
For all you claim that they've never erred in teaching on faith and morals, prove it. Give us examples of their works and leadership that demonstrates their allegedly purity.
Catholics must like the Clintons as well. After all, liberals sang the same song. What they do in their private lives is no reflection on their ability to be an effective leader.
Which is a lie from the pit. A man who cannot be trusted in his private moral life cannot be trusted in his public life.
Not to mention that the very Bible that Catholics claim to have written, condemns behavior like those men displayed and gives very clear and unequivocal instructions on the qualifications of men who are in leadership positions and what to do with the immoral brother.
So why hasn't the Catholic church dealt with those men as Scripture - GOD actually, demands?
Why did they choose to ignore God's clear commands in that area?
Do explain....
