How is it that this constant drumbeat of pedophilia is separated from the gay movement? Is not a man who sexually assaults young boys also gay?!?

There is some evidence that it's worse than that. Pedophiles are thought to choose their victims based on ease of access and vulnerability. This means that an otherwise straight man might choose a male victim and an otherwise gay man might choose a female victim due purely to how how easy it is to get hands on them. It's not about sexual orientation as you and I might think about it.

Remember that most pedophiles prey on victims that are close friends and family. They take advantage of ideas like "but he's not gay" and turn it into golden opportunity.
