“I do know Mennonites are often caught smuggling drugs in my area.”
They probably make the best smugglers. After all, rule #1 is “never get high on your own supply”!
I just open up asking about their holy underware and they usually dont stay around long.
“LDS all my life, age 55, and I have never heard anyone at church promote open borders! Total BS”
Oh sure, they say they are for “secure borders”, but they officially support “reasonable immigration reform”, and everyone here knows what that means (amnesty). Here is the official church stance, if anyone is interested:
**At least my definition of God/Christ was not decreed by an Emperor in 325AD***
Poor Constantine. Without him to rail against who would people blame for holding up sound doctrines that are found in the bible!
Arianism is not taught in the Bible.
When Utah was told it could not become a State because of Polygamy, this branch of the Church broke off and went to Southern Utah/Arizona border...
The Jesus Whom I worship is eternal and divine, not a created one with Lucifer for a brother and who jumped through all the hoops to atain godhood.
LDS, the internet is your darkest enemy.
200 years? Piker. The Marcionites, Arians and Manicheans lasted longer before they vanished.
“LDS, the internet is your darkest enemy.”
I’m actually surprised they haven’t told them to stay away from the internet, like the Scientologists do. Time will tell which is the better cult strategy, ignoring the internet, or trying to fight it..
El Cid Campeador! The Inmans afflict us with their holy Mormon goodness from both high and low. Deliver us!

Why not just fall back in the mormon book of Abraham!
From the REAL papyrus of Abraham ...Verses 1-5
http://www.bookofabraham.com/boamathie/BOA_6.html
(I/1) [Osiris, the gods father], prophet of Amon-Re, King of the Gods, prophet of Min who slaughters his enemies, prophet of Khonsu, the [one who exercises] authority in Thebes,
(I/2) [. . .] . . . Hor, the justified, son of the similarly titled overseer of secrets and purifier of the god, Osorwer, the justified, born by the [housewife and sistrum-player of ]
(I/3) [Amon]-Re, Taikhibit, the justified! May your ba-spirit live among them, and may you be buried on the west [of Thebes].
(I/4) [O Anubis(?),51 . . .] justification(?).
(I/5) [May you give to him] a good and splendid burial on the west of Thebes as on the mountains of Ma[nu](?).
[Osiris shall be towed in]to the great lake of Khonsu,
and likewise [the Osiris Hor, the justified,] born of Taikhibit, the justified,
after his two arms have been [placed] at his heart, while
the Breathing Document, being what
is written on its interior and exterior, shall be wrapped in royal linen and placed (under) his left arm in the midst of his heart. The remainder of his
wrapping shall be made over it. As for the one for whom this book is made,
he thus breathes like the ba-spirit[s] of the gods, forever and ever.
You are correct sir. Lots of BAD people in Heaven too. People who were so bad, they fled to Jesus Christ for forgiveness.
"At least my definition of God/Christ was not decreed by an Emperor in 325AD and enforced by threat of banishment."
This statement of yours is unfortunate because it is not historically accurate. The Emperor Constantine was not a Christian, and did not become one until 12 years after the Council of Nicaea. In that interim dozen years, he continued to participate in pagan affairs.
Moreover, Nicene Christianity did not become the state religion of the Roman Empire until the Edict of Thessalonica in 380 --- that was 43 years after the death of Constantine. In the mean time, paganism remained legal and present in public affairs.
Constantine was no theologian. In fact when at last he was baptized on his deeathbed, he chose bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia, bishop of the city where he lay dying, as his baptizer --- and Eusebius was an advocate of the Arian position, which was discountenanced at the Council. Carry on, but be careful of your historic facts.
The Muslim hierarchy and the Mormon leadership would both like to ban their faithful from the internet. Problem is, it’s just too darn useful for those whose business is aggressive proselytizing.
I love reminding Mormons that their light and delightsome Nephites were exterminated by a tribe of Jewish Indians.

+1
I’ve talked with mormons who don’t even realize these words are in the Bible.
GALATIANS 1:
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
I'd say this would apply to most of them.
They 'know' what they've been 'taught' and any researching outside LDS approved areas is frowned upon.
This is why I try to use official MORMON documentation at every turn.
“I love reminding Mormons that their light and delightsome Nephites were exterminated by a tribe of Jewish Indians.”
Hey, I found documentary evidence of this Yiddish Indian tribe:

This one is most frequently stated by missionaries who are paying their own way, and dont get me wrong, the missionary force being so devoted and putting so much money in, is remarkable.
HMMMmmm..
You'd think they'd KNOW their own scripture on the matter...
15, Faithful elders who preach the gospel will gain eternal life; 612, Pray to receive the Comforter, who teaches all things; 1322, Elders will sit in judgment on those who reject their message; 2336, Families of missionaries are to receive help from the Church.
2 Hearken, O ye who have agiven your names to go forth to proclaim my gospel, and to bprune my vineyard.
3 Behold, I say unto you that it is my will that you should go forth and not tarry, neither be aidle but blabor with your might
4 Lifting up your voices as with the sound of a trump, aproclaiming the btruth according to the revelations and commandments which I have given you.
5 And thus, if ye are faithful ye shall be laden with many asheaves, and bcrowned with honor, and glory, and immortality, and eternal life.
6 Therefore, verily I say unto my servant aWilliam E. McLellin, I brevoke the commission which I gave unto him to go unto the eastern countries;
7 And I give unto him a new commission and a new commandment, in the which I, the Lord, achasten him for the bmurmurings of his heart;
8 And he sinned; nevertheless, I forgive him and say unto him again, Go ye into the south countries.
9 And let my servant Luke Johnson go with him, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them
10 Calling on the name of the Lord for the aComforter, which shall teach them all things that are expedient for them
11 aPraying always that they bfaint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end.
12 Behold, this is the will of the Lord your God concerning you. Even so. Amen.
13 And again, verily thus saith the Lord, let my servant Orson Hyde and my servant Samuel H. Smith take their journey into the eastern countries, and proclaim the things which I have commanded them; and inasmuch as they are faithful, lo, I will be awith them even unto the end.
14 And again, verily I say unto my servant Lyman Johnson, and unto my servant Orson Pratt, they shall also take their journey into the eastern countries; and behold, and lo, I am with them also, even unto the end.
15 And again, I say unto my servant Asa Dodds, and unto my servant Calves Wilson, that they also shall take their journey unto the western countries, and proclaim my gospel, even as I have commanded them.
16 And he who is faithful shall overcome all things, and shall be alifted up at the last day.
17 And again, I say unto my servant Major N. Ashley, and my servant Burr Riggs, let them take their journey also into the south country.
18 Yea, let all those take their journey, as I have commanded them, going from ahouse to house, and from village to village, and from city to city.
19 And in whatsoever house ye enter, and they receive you, leave your blessing upon that house.
20 And in whatsoever house ye enter, and they receive you not, ye shall depart speedily from that house, and ashake off the dust of your feet as a testimony against them.
21 And you shall be filled with ajoy and gladness; and know this, that in the day of judgment you shall be bjudges of that house, and condemn them;
22 And it shall be more atolerable for the bheathen in the day of judgment, than for that house; therefore, cgird up your loins and be faithful, and ye shall overcome all things, and be dlifted up at the last day. Even so. Amen.
23 And again, thus saith the Lord unto you, O ye elders of my church, who have agiven your names that you might know his will concerning you
24 Behold, I say unto you, that it is the aduty of the church to assist in bsupporting the families of those, and also to support the families of those who are called and must needs be sent unto the world to proclaim the gospel unto the world.
25 Wherefore, I, the Lord, give unto you this commandment, that ye obtain places for your afamilies, inasmuch as your brethren are willing to open their hearts.
26 And let all such as can obtain places for their families, and support of the church for them, not fail to go into the world, whether to the east or to the west, or to the north, or to the south.
27 Let them aask and they shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto them, and be made known from on high, even by the bComforter, whither they shall go.
28 And again, verily I say unto you, that every aman who is obliged to bprovide for his own cfamily, let him provide, and he shall in nowise lose his crown; and let him labor in the church.
29 Let every man be adiligent in all things. And the bidler shall not have place in the church, except he repent and mend his ways.
30 Wherefore, let my servant Simeon Carter and my servant Emer Harris be united in the ministry;
31 And also my servant Ezra Thayre and my servant aThomas B. Marsh;
32 Also my servant Hyrum Smith and my servant Reynolds Cahoon;
33 And also my servant Daniel Stanton and my servant Seymour Brunson;
34 And also my servant Sylvester Smith and my servant Gideon Carter;
35 And also my servant Ruggles Eames and my servant aStephen Burnett;
36 And also my servant Micah B. Welton and also my servant aEden Smith. Even so. Amen.
