You gave away the store with this statement, as you have allowed the option for other interpretations of the text
Not to people that view the Bible in it's entirety.
Ah, the "No True Scotsman" fallacy rears its head.
To: kosciusko51
It is only a fallacy if it is not true. So in this case it is not a fallacy.

It is only a fallacy if it is not true. So in this case it is not a fallacy. So now, not only are you using the "No True Scotsman" fallacy, you are also begging the question.
To: kosciusko51
The catholic apologists also favor the fallacy of the undistributed middle ... at least one of their priests uses it at FR a lot.

Its sure a good thing that Catholics tell us that they dont worship Mary cause otherwise nobody would ever know that that sort of thing wasnt worship.Would this be an example of "rabble rousing" or "christian charity"?

Would your posting to me on various threads today out of nowhere be an example of *stalking*?
Especially since you have not posted on FR in over a month and suddenly your last five posts have been to me on various threads without addressing the topic of the threads but rather making it about me.
Your posts are argumentative and the only reasonable conclusion is that you are stalking for the purpose of provoking me.

Pointing out he hypocrisy of a "christian" is not stalking: Matthew 7:1-3King James Version (KJV) 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
You asked if I was rabble rousing, I am pointing out some obvious discrepancies.
Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Do you agree with his lie? ... “I am pointing out some obvious discrepancies.” Do realize that the poster purposely used an incorrect translation from Exodus? And would you like to help that poster see it more correctly? Or would you rather try to pile on in the foolishness?

I don’t think being stalked by an atheist on a Religion Forum thread should be any surprise or disconcerting. That a Catholic freeper would pile on and find agreement with such tells all we need to know about both views. Besides, your words are obviously getting through seeing the overreaction they cause. We should remember them in our prayers for the Holy Spirit to continue to enlighten hearts and minds to the truth of the gospel of the grace of God in Christ Jesus. Count it all joy!

It’s not, really.
I was just noting it since it was so blindingly obvious.
At least to me since it showed up on my ping list in such an obvious manner. Perhaps others would not have noticed it since they don’t have access to my incoming pings, but it stood out like a sore thumb and it doesn’t take much to look at someone’s posting history.
I do pray.
God saved me.
He can do it for anyone.
BTW, 5 days!!!
Whoo Hoo!
Although we’ve had gorgeous weather here. Got up to 82 the other day, so I’m working on my tan.
