The Lecture Fund at Georgetown University is planning to host Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) President Cecile Richards on campus this April, The Cardinal Newman Society has learned.
"This is the latest in a long history of scandal at Georgetown University," said Cardinal Newman Society President Patrick Reilly. "Disguised as an academic event, this is nothing more than a platform for abortion advocacy at a Catholic university and under the nose of the Catholic bishops, featuring a wicked woman who defends the sale of baby body parts and is responsible for the deaths of millions of aborted children."
The student chairperson of the Lecture Fund confirmed via an email to the Newman Society that Richards will speak at Georgetown in April, but said a final decision has yet to be made on the exact date and speaking topic. The format is also still being decided, but the Lecture Fund is planning a 30 minute question and answer session as part of the event. However, the event will not be open to the public. Only invited guests and media, and those with a Georgetown University identification card will be allowed to attend.

College is about fornication. A fornication society needs unlimited cheap abortion. End of story.
Its like inviting Mengele to speak at a children’s hospital.
More like inviting Mengele to speak at a vivisectionists’ convention.
Wasn’t it Georgetown that covered The Cross so L4BObama the mooselimb enabler could speak there without acknowledging Christ?
What the students will hear is either VALIDATION of their in-the-toilet-values or VALIDATION of their Christian/Catholic values.
Will she speak the words of her Founder. Clintons mentor, Clinton rec. the Margaret Sanger Award??
From the Founders own words:

Unreal, and all, every bit ignored!
“Disguised as an academic event, this is nothing more than a platform for abortion advocacy at a Catholic university.”
I am a Georgetown alumnus. Even though I am not Catholic, this and incidents like this over the last several years, which promote views that are directly contrary to the common morality of Western civilization, have led me to a decision (years ago) not to contribute one thin dime to the university. I know many of my fellow classmates feel the same way. They have brought this upon themselves.

Jesus Missing From Obama’s Georgetown Speech
White House asked university to cover symbol

A symbol of Jesus was apparently blacked out behind President Barack Obama during his Georgetown speech.
Amidst all of the American flags and presidential seals, there was something missing when President Barack Obama gave an economic speech at Georgetown University this week — Jesus.
The White House asked Georgetown to cover a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name in Gaston Hall, which Obama used for his speech, according to CNSNews.com.
A decision to cover up a symbol of Jesus for the president’s speech at Georgetown is upsetting many.
The gold “IHS” monogram inscribed on a pediment in the hall was covered over by a piece of black-painted plywood, and remained covered over the next day, CNSNews.com reported.
Julie Bataille from the university’s press office e-mailed me that the White House had asked that all university signage and symbols behind the stage in Gaston Hall be covered.
“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she wrote. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”
Catholic University spokesman Victor Nakas, felt strongly on the subject:
“I cant imagine, as the bishops university and the national university of the Catholic Church, that we would ever cover up our religious art or signage for any reason,” Mr. Nakas wrote. “Our Catholic faith is integral to our identity as an institution of higher education.”
Saudi prince Alwaleed donates even more millions to the Georgetown University “Middle East Studies” program than he does to those at Harvard, Princeton, Yale or Columbia.
Georgetown Says It Covered Over Name Of Jesus To Comply With White House Request

(CNSNews.com) - Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram IHS—symbolizing the name of Jesus Christbecause it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the IHS monogram that had previously adorned the stage at Georgetowns Gaston Hall was still covered up.
In coordinating the logistical arrangements for yesterdays event, Georgetown honored the White House staffs request to cover all of the Georgetown University signage and symbols behind Gaston Hall stage, Julie Green Bataille, associate vice president for communications at Georgetown, told CNSNews.com.
Pictures of the wooden pediment prior to Obamas speech show the letters IHS” in gold. Many photos posted on the Internet of other events at Gaston Hall show the letters clearly.
The White House did not respond to a request from CNSNews.com to comment on the covering up of Jesus name at Gaston Hall.
Georgetown, which is run by the Jesuit order, is one of the most prestigious Catholic institutions of higher education in the United States.
Roman Catholics traditionally use IHS as an abbreviation for Jesus name. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, St. Ignatius of Loyola adopted the monogram in his seal as general of the Society of Jesus (1541) and thus became the emblem of his institute. The Society of Jesus is the formal name for the Jesuits.
This reality rears its ugly head when an "older woman has sex with teenager" thread pops up here. Look at the responses.
Those attitudes from self-described conservatives are one factor that has caused me to reach the conclusion that nothing will change. Another factor is the attitude - straight from Margaret Sanger in the 1930s - that the country needs easy abortion to prevent the “wrong” people from having too many children.
Georgetown is historically, nominally, a Catholic university, but its academic profile, and student demographics have come to belie that background. It’s every bit as secular as any state school.
When does Charles Manson get to speak there? They’d love him too, I’d bet.
1. I know.
2. What does the university do that makes you write that it is an secular as any state school?
3. Student GPAs get them in there, nothing else.
I'm pretty sure that the alumni would disagree with you. The JESUITS run the school, so any positive positions on abortion would not be tolerated.
