Set your Bible aside and seek sources of the person Jesus....do not rely on sources that use the Bible for reference......without the Bible, Jesus certainly would not be a historical figure...He was a kid, born in Israel, a dissident who was executed by the Romans.....disappearing into history....It is through the Catholic Bible that you even know His name.

Set aside the Bible? Sounds like advice straight from the pit of hell.

Satan hates the word of God because he is defeated by it and he'll try anything to keep people from it.

Fortunately, I know better and can see through his lies.

So, just for the record, what other sources for Jesus are there besides the Bible and why isn't the Bible good enough to learn about Jesus in you opinion?

Jesus was just a kid executed by the Romans? Are we talking about the same Jesus because I don't think so. Yours is nothing to write home about and he can't save you. If he's so impotent that we wouldn't know him without the "help" of the Catholic church, he's no savior worth having.

Try the Jesus of Scripture. Now, He can do something for you.
