Then why does God promise to save the JEws if they are already saved?

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Paul speaks of two Israels in Romans.

True Israel which is God’s people, Jew and Gentile believers in Christ.

Secondly, national Israel, which for the most part rejected their Messiah, and has been blinded ever since. A remnant has been saved for 2,000 years now, but the fig tree has been cursed never to bear fruit again.

Btw, a sure sign that Jesus will return soon is the fig tree in bloom, national Israel foretold by Jesus in Matthew 24:32-33.
That and the apostasy in the Catholic Church foretold by Matthew 24:10-28.
