If it is any consolation, I doubt any American will ever be drafted again. After the engineers of the war in Vietnam later admitted it was a mistake (and weren’t imprisoned for war crimes), the government lost the moral authority to impress anyone into military service.

Agreed, and while any are subject to the draft, they should be the only citizens eligible to vote. Female or aged out? Fine, but no voting for you then.
