Granting that we have a major problem at our southern border and, I think, a more serious one developing in ISIS types being recruited to come here and do THEIR thing (kaboom! X Infinity), do you REALLY think the southern border is a worse problem than 60+ million innocent babies slaughtered? I don't and that may be where we part company.

Immigration IS the senior issue facing the US right now, and I will explain why.

If the demographics of the US change much further, then you will NEVER get a conservative elected to national office ever again. The Democrats will control the Presidency, the Senate, and the House. They will be able to achieve a Leftist majority on the Supreme Court. At that point, they will be able to push through their whole agenda.

Abortion is currently being pushed back. There are fewer abortion clinics every year, and fewer doctors willing to do abortions. Fewer hospitals give admitting privileges to abortion doctors. They are increasingly marginalized

If immigration demographics give the Dems a complete majority, that will all change. They WILL declare abortion a human right for all women. All hospitals WILL be required to perform abortions, or lose accreditation. They WILL be required to have abortion doctors on staff. Med schools WILL be required to teach abortion techniques to ALL students.
