Ping!
AGAIN....Pope Francis upholds the Teaching of the Church!
This Pope will NOT be CELEBRATING any schism. Please be careful WHERE you get your *information.*
Also, consider the following, which is quite the opposite that has been reported...even by some well-meaning but very incorrect Catholics:
“Since being elevated to the Chair of St. Peter, Francis hasn’t flagged in his commitment to the faith. He has urged pro-lifers to ‘stay focused’ on preserving the right to life, championed the rights of the poor, rebuked gay lobbies who promote same-sex relations, urged fellow bishops to fight gay adoption, affirmed traditional marriage, closed the door on women priests, hailed Humanae Vitae, praised the Council of Trent and the hermeneutic of continuity, in connection with Vatican II, denounced the dictatorship of relativism, highlighted the gravity of sin and the need for confession, warned against Satan and eternal damnation, condemned worldliness and âadolescent progressivism, defended the Sacred Deposit of Faith, and urged Christians to carry their crosses even to the point of martyrdom. These are not the words and acts of a secularizing Modernist.” ...December 7th, 2015, First Things
I figured that out all by myself when the Pope was John XXIII.
Also...
“When it is made publicly, a statement contrary to the truth takes on a particular gravity⦠Respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury. He becomes guilty:
â of rash judgment who, even tacitly, assumes as true, without sufficient foundation, the moral fault of a neighbor;
â of detraction who, without objectively valid reason, discloses anotherâs faults and failings to persons who did not know them;
â of calumny who, by remarks contrary to the truth, harms the reputation of others and gives occasion for false judgments concerning them.
To avoid rash judgment, everyone should be careful to interpret insofar as possible his neighborâs thoughts, words, and deeds in a favorable way: Every good Christian ought to be more ready to give a favorable interpretation to anotherâs statement than to condemn it. But if he cannot do so, let him ask how the other understands it. And if the latter understands it badly, let the former correct him with love. If that does not suffice, let the Christian try all suitable ways to bring the other to a correct interpretation so that he may be saved.” ...Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 2476-2478
No problem. As soon as we get rid of islamo evil, I’ll be right there for the next death of America.
Again? I think it’s the first time.
See Post #6.
;-)
Always a caveat for the homos and unmarried.
It's not due to "unfortunate circumstances in life". It's due to obstinate sin, mortal sin.
How can these "couples" continue to be the object of merciful love while they refuse to give up sodomy?
Do you not love people in your life who are sinners?
Silly question. We’re all sinners.
Do you show false “mercy” to sodomites and/or abortionists and not discourage them from their sinful lifestyles?
If God is so merciful to unrepentant sinners, why is there a Last Judgement for each one of us. Is Hell empty?
Did God and St. Michael show mercy on Lucifer? Or love?
Always a caveat for the homos and unmarried.

OR...it could be the perennial excuse for criticism on the part of others who do not see when he has repeatedly counseled that marriage is between one man and one woman only.
It also means that they are a continual object of the merciful love of Jesus....and thank God for that....or we would all be in trouble. Thankfully, He is gazing on us all with that same merciful love even when we fall into sin ourselves.

They can continue to be the object of merciful love because God NEVER gives up on redeeming us from ourselves.
Why did Papa Tango give personal audiences to both a lesbian couple and a homo couple in the last 18 months and give both his "blessings"?
Why did Humble Jorge advise the adulteress in Argentina to sneak around and find a distant Catholic church to receive Holy Communion?
Why did the Bishop of Rome discourage Tony Palmer from converting to Catholicism, shortly before Palmer's untimely death?
Did Papa Tango admonish the above homo couple to cease their sodomite union?
I don’t know if he admonished them, do you?
That’s an honest question not a snarky reply. Unless you have documentation that proves all he did with those men, both in public AND in private, was have a feel-good happy “you’re ok I’m ok” meeting with them,then all you have is a picture of the Pope meeting with two very confused men.
I realize he’s not the best Pope I don’t like his Laudato Si either; but quite frankly it’s unseemly for Catholics to use his radical environmentalism as an excuse to bash him for, what seems like, just being alive.
You’d rather be met with them and had them kneel publicly before him while they wept for forgiveness?
Give me a break with this constant Francis hate fest you’ve got going on. Show the documentation that proves he didn’t admonish them at all or shut up.
Or stop calling yourself Catholic. I don’t care what the anti-Catholics say anymore but Catholics I hold to a higher standard. So if your motivation is to bash him for whatever he does just let me know. I’ll know to ignore your posts too in the future, just like I ignore all the other anti-Catholics anymore.
Amen.
