That statement alone is clear heresy in Islam.
Zhudi Jasser rdoesn't want to follow Allah's commands in the Koran nor does he want to follow the examples set by Mohammed in the Hadiths. Those are fundamental to Islam.
I have trouble understanding people like Zhudi who don't just leave Islam, instead of trying to shape it to accommodate their secular views.
Islam is not complicated.
The Koran tells Muslims what God wants done, and the Hadiths tell them how to do it by following the examples set by Mohmmed. Anything else is Muslim heresy. And wishful thinking on the part of us Kafirs.-tom
