After months of reflection, Donald Trump says he still doesn't regret his decision not to ask God for forgiveness for his sins.
In an interview on Sunday with CNN, the Republican presidential frontrunner said that he does not regret never asking God for forgiveness, partially because he says he doesn't have much to apologize for.
"I have great relationship with God. I have great relationship with the Evangelicals," Trump said in the interview before pivoting to his poll numbers among Evangelical voters.
"I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try to do nothing that is bad."

That’s an honest answer , I have no quarrel with it.
I love how many excoriate him for his honesty and candor when duplicitous lies are told daily by all forms of politicians from every fabric that are so transparent that they're laughable in their execution. At least Trump is HONEST when he answers questions of this nature. I'd take an HONEST, flawed man over a DISHONEST, self-righteous man every time.
.
Trump just abuses the entirety of scripture, across the board.
Never once heard Cruz abuse the word of God.
Why do you object to my posting the article ? How is that hypocrisy ?
Or make up some nutty Seven Mountains theology.
That’s a good point. Always look for the rest of the story, even if it’s not about one’s preferred candidate. We should be discussing facts and not innuendo.
Uhm...Dominionism? Seven Mountains?
.
Don’t lie!
Those things have never come out of Ted Cruz’ mouth.
.
You have jumped another shark.
Your post is total falsehood and you know it
You are now Queen of the seven latrines.
I totally missed round 1, from last summer. This article from September refers to an earlier statement in July and puts some context to it. I’m going to assume he just forgot what he’d said or was a little inconsistent and drop it from there.
At least we wouldn’t be electing a sinner as president.
Is Jesus running this year? He’s not polling too well.
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”(James 4:6,1Peter 5)
Some of it goes with the territory, you have to talk yourself up if you want to win, but I'm disillusioned with all of them on our side and the left is pathetic.
And I shudder if Bloomberg jumps in the race, must be on FR somewhere today. He would go Independent. I saw that on Newser earlier today. He's a rich communist which is kind of an oxymoron but he wouldn't be the first one. Soros is pretty rich. I don't know what he is besides evil.
I liked Cruz at first because he seemed so intelligent.
“Almighty and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou them, O God, who confess their faults. Restore thou those who are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesu our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, To the glory of thy holy Name. Amen.”

I knew that you knew you were lying.
And there is nothing wrong with anyone praying for a blessing on a Godly man.
You are shameful.
It tells me he is a simple man. And that's a good thing, not a bad thing.
