Hundreds of men committed sexual assaults and robberies near the cathedral
The provost of Cologne Cathedral has called on people to not "jump to conclusions" after hundreds of youths rampaged through the city on New Year's Eve.
The incident, in which men, reportedly of Arab or North African appearance, sexually assaulted and robbed several dozen women, and allegedly committed a rape, has shocked Germany. Similar incidents were reported in Stuttggart and Hamburg.
The assaults took place close to Cologne cathedral, where last January the lights were turned off in solidarity with migrants, after a rally by the Right-wing Pegida organisation.
In a statement yesterday Provost Fr Gerd Bachner said: "The news of the violence on New Year's Eve in front of the Cologne Central Station, in the immediate vicinity of the cathedral, has shocked me. I am concerned that people who wanted to celebrate the beginning of the New Year in our peaceful town were attacked in this way.

What the heck does it mean?
Well...women could prevent assault by not showing that they are women....like wearing some kind of sheet over their nasty bodies...a non violent color...like black.../s

Notice how he focuses on the victims here, rather than the perps. Which would make us “jump to conclusions”.

That’s what the (female) mayor wants to do - make sure they conduct themselves in a manner that won’t invite assaults.

Now, I appreciate this approach to life, but we’re talking beasts who don’t care if they’re wearing full hijabs or not. I’m sure just wearing classy (instead of more modern trashy) western wear will make the Moslems go over the edge with lust. Her scheme won’t work.
They are in total denial. Screw global warming. Moslem-denial is MUCH worse and more real.
The head in the sand crowd won’t watch real news stories, or read real news online or talk to anyone about current events. It violates their safe space. Reality will bite these people sooner than later.

I suspect a lot of the officials in support of this hijrah are converts.

How could they possibly be shocked after handing over their country to these animals?
My wife and I visited Cologne in 1989 and had to stop to see the magnificent Gothic cathedral there. It sits just up the hill from the very train station where this muzzie mayhem took place.
As I thought about that, it struck me that this site was selected by these muslim “immigrants” PRECISELY BECAUSE it sits in the shadow of one of the grandest symbols of the Christianity on which scores of millions of Germans and other Europeans have turned their backs.
I am hard pressed to find a more fitting metaphor for what’s going to continue to happen in the vacuum created by our abandonment of the faith of our fathers here in the West.
And it will only get worse.
What the heck does it mean?
I think it was intended to show irony - Cologne cathedral showed solidarity with the Muslims last year, yet they still committed these acts nearby this year.
In actuality, there was nothing ironic about it. The show of support did not warm the Muslims' hearts - it displayed weakness which they then acted upon. Totally predictable.
BTW, that PEGIDA group that was mentioned - it went from a group local to Dresden, Germany to a "pan-European" organization in just a few months.
Did the assaults take place after a rally, or did the cathedral lights turn off after a rally?
