Ah yes, the Cumberland Gap. We are a little to the southeast of that region, in the Watauga watershed--- which you can get from Western North Carolina via Buckner Gap and Sam's Gap. We've got more gaps here than the Cumberlands.
We're acoustic and traditional religious, as in shape notes. I mean culturally. Religiously, my husband is Russian Orthodox and I am Catholic, per omnia saecula saeculorum!
Davao City sounds, like I said, delish. But Upper East Tennessee is beautiful, beautiful country. Good people.
Oh yeah. And turkeys too.
LOL. I was just going to ask, how many gaps have you got back there? Every place has its own natural beauty, East Tennessee, Davao City. I like it here, but it is hot, but not as hot as it was when I was in Vietnam. That was HOT. If you want to Google some nice things, look up Jack's Ridge, the Marco Polo Hotel, Paradise Island beach resort in Island Garden City of Samal, SM, (Shu Mart) in Ecoland, the Abreeza Mall. Tebow Cure Hispital, named after Tim Tebow, on JP Laurel Ave. Nice places.
