Jesus does not function as God. Jesus is God. At no time Is he ever not God. This is a truth that is not ambiguous, it is precisely who Jesus is.

You're just not getting it...God is NOT the flesh of Jesus' human body...God became manifest in the flesh, so people could see him...When the human body died, it fell off Jesus...Jesus was still there but no one could see him...
