Typical to have a Catholic twist the meaning of my post in such an apparently subtle way.
Most posters see Catholic with an upper case "c" means Catholic as in a member of the Catholic church.
The church of Jesus Christ isn't Catholic, because NO unsaved non born again are members of the body of Christ.
I don't need to poont (poont? Catholicism sure has some strange words) to Scripture to prove something that's the game you and your sola scriptura buddies play.
A Catholic not accepting scripture (the Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit) as the Bereans did is not surprising. Tradition seems to trump God's Word.
Using scriptures to prove a Christian point should not be poo-poo'd.
Oh and nice nasty little dig, thanks for exposing the depth of your character.
I don't subscribe to that none se (is that the opposite of the Holy Se?) as I have already told you.
I never inferred that you did.
Sola or any kind of scripture seems to be quite the irritant to some Catholics here.
King James BibleIf you would like the Biblical scriptures for becoming born again linked or quoted for you I would be glad to do it.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Even though Catholic posts that break the guideline about no personal attacks are rarely removed, try to follow them OK?
Mrs. Don-o FYI
This Born again nonsense as you use it is a concept that stems from a misinterpretation of the Bible why do you presume I should accept that it’s correct in order to refute it, a logically impossible thing to do. I find it ridiculous that you and our fellow heretics think that once saved always saved.
Besides, I have some serious bean soup and cornbread to attend to here.
