Mother has suffered a great deal these past months. She is quite a trouper. God has gifted Mother with much suffering during her life which she has always accepted, living out her motto “Totus Jesu†- All for Jesus.
From the time Mother Angelica suffered her stroke, leaving her unable to speak, I sensed that she had entered her purgation, on earth, rather than in the afterlife. If you have not yet done so, I would encourage everyone to read Raymond Arroyo's book on her life.
Her undaunted faith and trust in God guided her life. It's the amazing journey who stood up for her Catholic faith, even taking on some American bishops. A great Christmas gift!
