I’m struggling with how best to answer your question...suffice it to say that it caused me to lose ALL my faith in the servants of that church...it quite seriously shook me to my core. It so flew in the face of everything I had been taught about Catholic priests. That one act caused a deep fissure in the entire foundation of everything I knew about Catholicism. Everything I had ever learned about Catholicism was built on a foundation of sand.

For many years, it resulted in my questioning of faith in general. I’m grateful that I have at least regained my Faith in Christ, but Catholicism? It’s dead to me.

I’m happy for those of you who find what you need in the church...truly...and may God bless you.

That’s understandable, and I’m glad that you have faith in Christ. Keep searching for truth and you won’t go wrong.

I am sorry for your experience. Perhaps that priest had had a bad experience with people coming to his door late at night, like the guy who killed Fr Walker a couple of years ago.

That you have recovered you Faith is a very good thing, I hope you will be well blessed. Please consider putting down the anger that you have been carrying for so many years. You will feel much better and will be able to move forward in spiritual growth.

You were out of the Church long before that.
