It sort of DESTROYS the entire premise of the WORD “gay” as used by these people.There is no premise. "Gay" is just a slang word that got mainstreamed by the movement.
There premise was that they are “Gay” the original meaning of which was Rather Happy and Carefree. That being said, saying one is Happy to be Gay...is akin to say that one is Rather Happy and Carefree to be Rather Happy and Carefree..or even Gay to be Happy.
frankly ive always found the word as misused by these poor broken down people to be terribly SAD.
I remember the very first time...i heard the word Misused bacy in the early 60’s. I asked an aqqauntance about a pal of his wanting to know if he was queer, and the guy said he;s “gay”.
I hadl to laugh.
