Arthur, the entire hierarchy worldwide(with exceptions that I know of which could be counted on one hand) is in open violation of Canon 915. This involves permitting open, manifest, unrepentant, grave sinners (e.g. the pro-abortion pols) to commit further mortal sins by sacrilegious reception of Holy Communion. That is utterly disgraceful, and as I think you know, I join you in saying this is objectively grave matter, the kind of stuff that is damnable.

That does not men, however, that their entire hierarchy is pro-abortion. It may very well mean their understanding of what the sacrilegious reception of Communion is, and does, is stupefyingly superficial.

Some bishops are pro-abortion. By which I mean they just don’t think it’s an issue. Cupich has made himself clear. What is shown in the PP videos—and abortion in general—is no more “appalling” than unemployment, or the “plight of the undocumented.” Bernardin was pro-abortion.
