Pope Francis praised Americas Roman Catholic church for its unfailing commitment to the pro-life cause on Wednesday, saying it was the primary reason for his visit to the country.

"All you wayward lambs, getthehe!! outta here!"
Remove him from those wicked women. There is no way they will raise him Catholic.
Abortion is legal.
What's you're point?
My point is, this kid needs what Vacation Bible School has to offer as much as, or more than, any other in the program.
OK, how do you remove him from those wicked women?
The “kid” is a bad distraction to his classmates.
Michael’s two mommies is now legal. We stopped fighting more than 40 years ago and this is the result.
CCD as well as Catholic school k-8 religion classes can’t or don’t teach about this. I was informed back in 1995 as a CCD teacher that I couldn’t address this even though it was in the curriculum (and the Catechism) because it upset too many parents.
CCD no longer teaches that.
I honestly don’t think it’s that. I think and feel it’s more about the liberal takeover the Church that started way before Vatican II and is now just coming to fruition.
Why? Did God change His mind?
Child abuse.
I think it could depend on the Parish. My Parish didn’t want the hassle, and there was a huge hassle back in the mid to late 90s.
And, this is the only time I reply to you unless you nix the sarcastic replies. Seems you don’t want a discussion just a forum for snarky replies.
“Why? Did God change His mind?”
Why ask that question when you already know the answer?
Why not?
Why do you think?
Are you trolling or do you really want discussion?
I tend to side on the positive until otherwise learned.
As a CCD teacher (volunteer in my parish, for the last 20 years), we were told after a big brouhaha, to not address the homosexual or abortion issues other than to say, it’s what the Church teaches. Since I only teach CCD in my parish, I don’t know if it was just my Parish or every Parish.
Why can’t you teach what the Church teaches?
I could but I teach, as a Volunteer, what the parish tells me to teach. Maybe that’s where the problem/issues originate?
Sad that CCD is left to Volunteers that have no clue. And, also lay teachers in the Catholic schools.
Are you saying that your parish is telling you to teach what is contrary to what the Catholic Church has always taught?
Pretty much, kinda sorta.
And this has been happening in this parish for the last 20 years in CCD and Catholic School Religion Class.
Do you have a point? Are you being purposely obtuse?
I’ve said as much since my first post on this thread.
