Yom Kippur applies only to Jews. The non-Jewish nations are also judged on Ro'sh HaShanah but are especially judged during Sukkot (specifically, for rain). Our "day of atonement" is Hosha`na' Rabba' the seventh day of Sukkot (the night of Oct. 3 and day of Oct. 4 this year).
Thanks for the ping and information, ZC. Besides respecting certain days, each of us should also repent after doing anything wrong any time. Prophets also warned against sacrifices without sincerity and advocated for real repentance and cessations of wrongdoings being most important.
