That problem is solved if you bow to no one but Jesus. At His name every knee will bow.

When I was younger, I actually wondered more about that. I had a second cousin, who I’d only met once or twice. He was a Catholic bishop who’s name had been kicked around pretty heavily as in contention for the first American pope. I figured if he was, my parents would have dragged me to some ceremony or another and I’d be faced with that problem.
