One is RC Senior, the other is RC Junior. That is the difference. I think you missed the point. For certain RCs, all Protestants are the same, so if one grievously sinned then they all did.
What a contrast though with ministries (Cath or Prot) which dealt with actual child molesters by relocation if that.

I was thinking the same thing. One confessed but others sweep it under the rug and hope it never sees the light of day again. A lot of difference.
