Four years after the legalization of divorce in Malta, the head of one of the nations two dioceses has issued a pastoral letter on mercy for those who have divorced and entered into a civil marriage outside the Church.
It is no secret that there is expectancy about the conclusions of the Synod regarding the pastoral situation of those who are divorced and are in a second relationship, Bishop Mario Grech of Gozo said in his August 15 letter. Those who propose that certain barriers between those who are in an irregular relationship but who believe in Christ as Savior, and the rest of the community, should be removed, are in no way putting at risk the teaching about the indissolubility of marriage, but they are eager to make possible the experience of the balm of Gods mercy, particularly that kind of mercy which according to the Tradition of the Church, the penitent accedes to it when he is on the road of conversion, known as the via poenitentialis [penitential way].
Gods mercy is not only a doctrine alongside the doctrine of marriage and the family, but is at the heart of Christian doctrine, he continued. The promoters of Gods justice may feel uneasy when confronted with this pastoral view.

If his Pastor is knowingly allowing him to take communion... he may as well be trying on millstones.
What is the Greek word “church” not changed until 1611?— by KJV? and what was its meaning?
We’re not going to play chase the strawman argument...
What did Jesus say in Matthew 19:9? Feel free to use the KJV.

Let’s just toss the words of St John Paul II, not to mention Christ and St. Paul, out the window.
“Therapeutic energy”?
I give up.
I’m sure Hillary feels ‘called out’ as you say... that’s ultimately where pre-destination leads.
Are you sure his first marriage wasn't annulled?
“Jesus died for our sins, but He cannot forgive sins of which we do not repent.”
CANNOT??????????????????????????????????
Says who?
“savor the delicacies of God love”?
“releasing the therapeutic energy”?
Beware of bishops who communicate by means of flowery psycho-babble.
....And another month before the Pope comes to America!
I have a quick question.
If there was a “defect in ritual form”, is there still a need to get an annulment? Thank-you for your response and God Bless.
Is there a Canon Lawyer in the house?
I don't have an answer (assuming the question was addressed to me).
