He is IN THE BELIEVER raising them up in the Way that they should go as members born from above into the Family of Jesus Christ. He would cleanse you and come into your spirit if you would but bow your head to Him and acknowledge that you are entirely unable to strive for eternal life and need His Grace in Christ offered to you for faithing in His Grace.

It is not Catholic teaching that is causing confusion. It is the erroneous extrapolation of Catholic teaching that is causing the confusion. What you infer from your speculations is nowhere to be found in the teaching of the Catholic Church.
