To: Perseverando
Ever since I was a boy, I've been hearing these astrology quacks predict doom every time there is an uncommon celestial event.

100% of the time, life goes on as normal.

Think about it though, Earth is a tiny planet in a tiny solar system in a tiny galaxy in a vast universe that we cannot even comprehend. In that context, it's utter foolishness to assign significance to how planetary objects line up from the perspective of our puny little planet.

It's fun to look up in the sky and point out conjunctions, eclipses, comets, etc., but those events do not portend anything at all.
