Yes. A good explanation for why he would appoint so many Cardinals in non-cardinalatial sees.

Francis was put in office by the same people who drove Benedict out. They are thugs with plans within plans, accumulated in their top desk drawers for years. Just as Obamacare and most of Obama’s agenda were all ready for decades. (All the “listening sessions” are a sham.)

I followed the latest round of new Cardinals. Virtually all of them were of the quality of the one in Fiji, described to me by a friend in Australia as “that asshole.”

McElroy and Cupich are typical Francis appointments.
