Then go to 2 Cor 5:10. A little knowledge of History might help you, also.

....”Nobody “populates the earth during the millennium”.....!!!!!!”.....

Of course they do...After the Judgment of separating the sheep from the goats, the saved go into the Millennial period (Mt.25) the unsaved (goats) go into the fire, which is judgment.

There are two kinds of believers that will enter the Millennium. Those who have come back with Christ.... 1 Thess. 4:14..... who are made eternal, been transformed, and have glorified bodies..... And those that are mortal that lived through the Great Tribulation and survived (sheep).

Those mortals will become the non immortal race of man on earth which those who were made like Christ in the resurrection will co rule and reign over ...(Rev.20:6)....

Isaiah states,..... “There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed” (Isaiah 65:20).

During this Millennial period a 100-year-old person will die as a child, if saved they will live to the extent of years (likened to Adams day), v.22 “ for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people.”

Those born in Millennial period must receive Christ as Savior just as people in prior dispensations. By the end of the 1,000 years there will be millions of people born under Christ’s Kingdom that will still refuse to accept Him as Savior....... During this time period of Christs theocracy, Satan is bound in the bottomless pit. But the adamic nature is not eradicated in mortal mankind that is still being born...... Those who are born to those who have entered the millennium can refuse and not be saved (even if their parents are saved).

At the end of this time period Satan will be released from the bottomless pit.... (Revelation 20:7)..... and will lead All unbelievers in a rebellion against Jesus Christ, against the saints and the city of Jerusalem.... (Rev.20:6)... The fire of God will come from Heaven and devour them .......(Revelation 20:8, 9).

Then comes the white throne judgment — the last judgment before the new Heavens and earth are made prepared for the heavenly Jerusalem to come down where death will be no more.

Me too—especially on threads like this where the obvious slaps people on the face but they still don’t get it.

The event you’re pretending is the future already occurred in the first century.

See what happens when you set up false choices?

Since there is no rapture, I’m not too concerned about pre-trib, post-trib, mid-trib, stuff.

When Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation....will be the Second Coming of Christ!

But it will NOT be preceded by a rapture.

So, clearly, you have not identified “the only way to validly interpret anything.

And..from “The Apocalypse: How Catholic and Protestant Views Differ”
(What’s Up with the Rapture?, Chap. 22, pp. 77-81)

“Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world to test the inhabitants of earth.”
Does the phrase “…will keep you from the hour of trial…” mean that the Church will be “removed” before the Tribulation begins? No. There are many Bible verses that show that Christ permits his Church to suffer persecution and tribulation. In John 17:15 Christ says, “I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one”. John 16:33 says, “In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 15:19 says that Christians have been chosen “out of the world,” but it does not say that Christians will be ‘taken’ out of the world, prior to a time of persecution.
The Church will endure persecutions and tribulations and it will come through them purified.
(Mt, Rm, Cor, Thes, Rev.)”

Interesting that you would bring up one of the key references to Purgatory.

And then you verify the purpose of Purgatory.

I’ve been on board these truths my entire adult life.

They are more a proof against a rapture, than for the notion.

Your catholic blindness is showing. The Bema seat is not a punishment scene, it is a rewards scene. But that is something your religion probably will not teach you because it would reduce their power over the adherents. What one sees when they read of the Bema Seat in Romans and Corinthians, etc. will be tainted by what one has been programmed to see, not usually what is actually being said by the Spirit in the passages. Hence the error of seeing a punishment oriented judgment rather than a rewards oriented judgment. That’s why having some Historical knowledge is so valuable. Incidental to that is the actual Greek terminology used by Paul, which is not punishment wording; it is more related to the ones running a race and the rewards of the runners, but that is probably anathema to a catholic perspective steeped in the mythos of purgatory.

I won’t trouble you further. You appear quite comfy in your religious mythos. Enjoy the Great White Throne you seem determined to visit.

How can any of us Catholics possibly survive without your over-erudite corrections?

Isn’t it amazing how you are always without exception right!

How did anyone ever survive without your protestant polemics?

Both Corinthians quotes address the reward and punishment issues equally.

Why do you pretend verse 15 doesn’t exist?

“If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”

Who has the bias?

If Catholics ignored the promise of reward, we wouldn’t address the merits of the Saints, no would we?
