Could you show me where in the Bible those words are found?

You don't know the meaning of "Matt 5:9"?

The books of the Bible have different names. "Matt" means "The Gospel of St. Matthew."

The books are divided into "chapters," and the chapters are divided into "verses." Thus, "5:9" means "chapter five, verse nine."

So "Matt 5:9" means, "Gospel of St. Matthew, chapter five, verse nine."

So, you're saying what?

Are you saying Mt 5:9 teaches us that Jesus classifies sins into different categories, some lead to spiritual death and some "which do NOT cut them off from 'the kingdom of Heaven.'"

MY Matt 5:9 says this:
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

Or maybe you were just trying to help us learn how to look up verses and Mt 5:9 was just an example you used as a random scripture reference.

So, what WERE you saying?

Personally, Arthur, I hope you meant to raise Matthew 12:31-32 as your proof text, because THEN we'd have something to discuss.

Good night!
