Absolutely and vehemently disagree. Conservatism uniformed and restrained by religion is the tyranny of the most base emotions of a mob with no moral beliefs, or worse, a tyrant ruling at will. Expunge the Judeo-Christian religion from conservatism and you expunge our sense of justice. Turn to atheism and you invite every injustice mortal men can invent for their own purpose.
It is a difficult issue concerning fairness, but your answer may as well strip conservatism of principle. No principle, no conflicts. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
